Visit us at SIAL Paris

September 10th, 2024  

Grozette will be present at the international SIAL fair in Paris this year. From 19 to 23 October 2024 we can be found in hall 7 - stand D109. SIAL is the leading trade fair for food producers, distributors, importers, wholesalers and retailers worldwide. Curious about how you can use our cheese as a flavouring for your product? Time to innovate with a sachet!

June 17th, 2024  

New in our product range:
Small sachets with new types of soft cheeses: Blue cheese dice, Goat cheese pearls and Vegan Greek style dice. These portion bags can be added to salad bowls or ready meals. Feel free to ask for more information or a sample!

New construction Grozette sustainably certified

August 18th, 2023  

Grozette received on the 13th of July the BREEAM-NL outstanding certificate and therefore meets the highest requirements of sustainable construction.

BREEAM is the quality mark for assessing buildings on sustainability. BREEAM stands for 'Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method'. To obtain the BREEAM Outstanding certificate, a score of at least 85% must be achieved. Points can be earned based on nine sustainability categories: management, health, energy, transport, water, materials, waste, land use and ecology and pollution.

Grozette celebrates 60 years of grated cheese!

We have something to celebrate!

 

After 60 years of processing cheese, Grozette may celebrate her diamond jubilee on Monday the 13th of March 2023. What started with a small production space in a shed in Nieuwerbrug, has grown into an international concept in the world of grated cheese. During 60 years of 'cheese magic', Grozette has built up a lot of knowledge and developed many unique cheese products. Since 2023 from a new production site in Woerden, that meets the highest requirements of food safety and sustainability.

More and more people are choosing to consume no or less animal products.  Plant-based cheese alternatives are available at Grozette in three varieties: Gouda style, Mozzarella style and Greek style.

Grozette is supplier of organic cheese products for 25 years!

  

At the beginning of November, a SKAL audit took place at Grozette, with positive results. We are certified again to produce organic products in 2021.

The Skal Foundation is responsible for the certification of organic products in the Netherlands. They supervise companies that have received the Skal certificate, in order to guarantee that they also comply with the regulations.

Grozette has been Skal certified since 1995, which is already 25 years!

Grozette also has vegetarian cheese products in its range

  

In addition to the basic ingredient milk, cheese also contains rennet to make the cheese. This is often animal rennet. The vegetarian alternative is microbial rennet. This is made from microorganisms. Cheese made with microbial rennet is vegetarian cheese.
